Simulations I'd like to see

I wish I knew how to program better in Flash, because I love simulation games.

Here are some ideas for simulations I'd love to see, either in flash-based games or in Second Life setups:

1. Immigration choices - You start as a poor rural laborer in Central America and have no legal way to get to the US. You start off in your country living a normal life, but there's always a "cross illegally" choice looming for you. You even get word from friends already in the US urging you to come. Then if you choose to cross, you face more tough choices like if and how to get fake documents, dealing with illness, paying taxes, being a victim of a crime in the US, sending money home, dealing with a death of your abuela back in your home country, etc. The main meters are health, poverty, and family success.

2. Media mogul - You have a small media empire and you try to grow it. You try to acquire the competition and deal with independent media. You learn about media consolidation, FCC rules, propaganda techniques, and network neutrality.

3. Mr. Mayor - You are the mayor of a town in Africa (or Asia). I picture this kind of like Simcity along with issues like increasing economic opportunity, dealing with disease, debt, and trade, and also military conflict.

4. Walmart - Run a Walmart with pressure to keep wages, benefits and hours down, deal with trade issues like where to buy stock from, and pressure to make as much as possible. Lemonade Stand on steroids.

5. Corporate responsibility - You're the CEO. The emphasis here is that your ultimate job is keeping shareholders happy by increasing stock prices, though you have to manage public image too. Deal with downsizing, environmental issues, scandal, and outsourcing.

Anything out there like these? What other simulations would you like to see?
